Dallas CASA is a non-profit organization of volunteers who are appointed by judges to serve as voices in court for abused and neglected children. On an average day in Dallas County, nearly 2,000 children are living in foster care and waiting for the courts to decide where they can safely and permanently live. Dallas CASA volunteers are trained to make recommendations that help judges decide what is best for each child. CASA volunteers are ordinary people who make a critical impact in an abused child’s life and often are the only constant for the child during a scary, uncertain time.
